Superior Essex Energy Inc. Announces First Commercial Production of Energy Cable Products

Superior Essex Energy Inc., a division of Superior Essex Inc., has begun commercial production of its first product offering of low voltage energy cables. The initial product portfolio includes low voltage 300V and 600V instrumentation cables for control systems, audio, intercoms, energy management, and alarm controls and low voltage 600V control cables for industrial, utility power, or station control circuits. Nexans awarded four-year contract to supply airfield lighting cable contract for India’s Modernisation of Airfield Infrastructure (MAFI) project

Nexans, a worldwide leading expert in the cable industry, has been awarded a contract by Tata Power’s Strategic Electronics Division (Tata Power SED), India, amounting to approximately 5 million euro to supply specialized medium voltage (MV) primary and low voltage (LV) secondary airfield lighting cables for the Indian Air Force’s ‘Modernization of the Airfield Infrastructure (MAFI)’ project. The four-year contract covers the supply several thousands of cables to upgrade the runway and taxiway lighting power circuits for 30 Indian Air Force (IAF) bases throughout India.

Molex and TE Connectivity Announce High-Speed Interconnect Second Source Agreements

Friday, Feb 24, 2012 LISLE, Ill. & BERWYN, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Molex Incorporated and TE Connectivity Ltd. today announced second source agreements under which TE Connectivity will have the right to manufacture, market and sell worldwide several Molex high-speed interconnect solutions including the z-Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus (zQSFP+) and the Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus (zSFP+), among others. Molex will have the right to manufacture, market and sell worldwide TE Connectivity’s Quadra High-Speed I/O Connector. These products are the plan of record for the InfiniBand* Trade Association (IBTA), the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) and other standards bodies.

Datwyler to wire up new data centre for the Rhineland Regional Association
