Southwire Introduces SureSeal Cable

Tuesday, Dec 08, 2009
Southwire unveiled its new SureSeal self-sealing power cable at the Irrigation Association Show and Conference in San Antonio, Texas last week.

The product contains channels of visco-elastic sealant that flows into insulation breaks to prevent water instrusion and corrosion found after rodent damage, shovel nicks and other abrasions.

Shovel knicks, rodent bites and other abrasions don’t faze this undground cable, since it’s insulation carries an RTV-like substance that automatically seals small breaks in the insulation and protects subterranean power lines.

SureSeal is available in a number of gauges of direct-buried aluminum power cable and is available from Paige Electrict at (800) 997-2443 or go to www.paigeelectric.com.
