TF Cable Americas will provide cables to Texas and Louisiana

TELE-FONIKA Cable Americas, the American subsidiary of the TELE-FONIKA Group, will provide power cables (which pass 2 kV) to Texas and Louisiana – two states which have suffered at the hands of Hurricane Ike. The delivery of the cables started on 13th September, immediately after the receipt of the order for power cables by TF Cable Americas. Hurricane Ike destroyed or damaged many power lines, especially in Texas and Louisiana. TF Cable storage in Batavia, Illinois, is prepared for the next emergency supply of power cables, which would take place after the valuation of power network damage in both states.

In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, TELE-FONIKA Cable Americas delivered power cables to New Orleans within 24 hours of receipt of the order.
