Siemon, a world leader in end-to-end structured cabling systems, announces the addition of new fibre cable to its EMEA product line. Siemon’s enhanced offering now includes indoor/outdoor cable in both their 10 Gb/s capable XGLO™ and Gigabit-capable LightSystem® versions. Configurations include 8.3µm singlemode and 50µm multimode fibre in XGLO and LightSystem as well as 62.5µm LightSystem varieties for legacy applications. Available in tight-buffered and loose-tube construction, Siemon fibre cable is offered in strand counts ranging from 2 to 24 for single-tube and 36 to 144 for multi-tube versions. All varieties are ISO compliant and constructed using a secondary water blocking feature and LS0H jacket material. The cable specifications are designed by Siemon Labs to deliver superior channel performance and are subject to the same rigorous quality control testing and validation as Siemon connectivity products.
The new fibre cable joins Siemon’s established line of fibre connectivity and cable management. This comprehensive line includes patch and equipment leads, pigtails and field installable connectors in SC, LC, ST and MT-RJ styles; an array of fibre enclosures, fibre managers, adaptors and splicing accessories; work area outlets and termination tools. All of Siemon’s end-to-end systems are covered by the full Siemon system warranty when designed and installed by a Siemon Certified Installer™. |
